Delivery
We will use the most efficient and economical method of carriage for your order and try to be fair with our shipping costs as much as possible. All orders are charged by weight which we think is the fairest method so if you are purchasing one light item, you are not forced to pay a standard shipping charge.
Please contact us if an order is urgent so that we may advise you if all items are in stock and give you a delivery date.
We use a range of couriers (including DHL, TNT and UPS) for next day delivery of the majority of our orders. Couriers often charge us a surcharge of around £12.00 + VAT for remote areas which include the following post codes: AB33-35, AB37, AB44-45, AB53-56, DE45, DG1, DG5-6, DG9-13, DG16,FK17, FK20, HS1-2, HS4-8, IV3, IV13, IV21-22, IV25-27, IV40-49, IV51-56, KA27, KW1, KW9-10, KW14-15, KY8, NE42, NE46, NE47, NE62-63,NE66, PA20, PA28-29, PA34, PA60, PA62-78, PH1, PH7, PH15-18, PH22, PH26, PH33, PH36, PH38-39, PH41, TD7, TD9, TR13, TR21-25, ZE1-3. If you live in any of these areas, we will generally use Royal Mail 1st class or standard parcels for your order but if you require delivery with a courier, please contact us for a quote.
Smaller orders will be sent by Royal Mail 1st class post or standard parcel service and will be charged at the appropriate rate. If your order is bulky or heavy, it may be subject to an additional charge, we will advise you if this is the case.
Ordering from outside the UK
We welcome orders from outside the UK and try our best to ensure that packaging and carriage costs are kept as low as possible. Any orders below 2kg can be sent using Royal Mail Airmail. Please note that there is no tracking facility available with Airmail, if you wish to be able to track your order we can use Airsure on request at an additional cost of £4.00 + VAT.
Orders weighing more than 2kg have to be sent with a courier, we use various companies (DHL, Parceline) depending on destination and all have tracking facilities for peace of mind. Please note that shipping packages outside Europe that weigh over 2kg tends to be quite expensive; you are able to see the delivery charges before accepting the order and proceeding with payment and confirmation once you have selected the destination country and tax options.
We can ship orders that weigh under 2kg anywhere in the world with Airmail, choose the relevant option in the delivery location option. We may be able to ship slightly heavier orders as two separate packages, please contact us with your requirements
Import Duty
Customers from outside the UK are responsible for paying any import duties or taxes that may be due in their country. |
